YOGA
Away from it all and right at home…
Make the most of your time here and treat yourself to a moment of peace. Quiet your mind, restore your senses and reconnect with your body after a long hike or before you set off again on your journey.
We hold several shared classes every week during summer which you can pre-book on the website. Private sessions are also a great way to begin, build, or re-ignite your Yoga practice during your holiday.
Each session is tailored to a particular style of yoga, specific areas of interest within your practice, etc. Since the 1:1 session is all about you and your practice, be sure to tell your instructor about any past/present injuries or health concerns. There is no one-size-fits-all approach, particularly for individuals recovering from illness or injury. We also have recovery classes that work like a dream after intense activities (hiking or canoeing or running) and pure bliss classes of Zen meditation and mindfulness.
Our mission is to connect each and every person to a style of Yoga that suits their personal level with respect to age, health condition, and experience.
FITNESS
Personal trainers are very passionate about health and fitness and they want to help support you in achieving your fitness goals so they will both challenge and motivate you towards your full potential and help you take that one step further that you might not have if you were working out alone.
Personal trainers will create a tailored training programme to suit your needs, abilities and goals, which a fitness class can’t provide. For example, if your goal is to lose weight, your personal trainer would be able to programme your exercise to meet your specific needs and your goal. As there is no one size fits all approach when it comes to achieving fitness goals since everyone responds training and nutrition differently, your personal trainer will be able to monitor, adapt and progress your plan based on your needs, enabling you to optimise your training.
BOOTCAMP
Boot camp training often commences with dynamic stretching and running, followed by a wide variety of interval training, including lifting weights/objects, pulling rubber TRX straps, pushups/situps, plyometrics, and various types of intense explosive routines. Sessions usually finish with yoga stretching.
Many other exercises using weights or body weight, similar to CrossFit routines, are used to lose body fat, increase cardiovascular efficiency, increase strength, and help people get into a routine of regular exercise
